The REGnosys team recently attended the Google Cloud Summit 2025 at Tobacco Dock in London, and we’re proud to share that software engineers Najihah Amran and Chuks Ajeh took home the top prize in the event’s flagship hackathon.
The Google Cloud Summit is Google Cloud’s premier UK event, bringing together developers, tech leaders and decision-makers to explore how the latest innovations in cloud infrastructure, data analytics, security, and machine learning can help solve real business challenges.
As part of the hackathon titled “Build enterprise agentic applications with Google Cloud”, participants were challenged to develop a solution to a real-world problem using BigQuery, Google AgentSpace, and the Agent Development Kit.
Najihah Amran and Chuks Ajeh tackled a practical supply chain use case, automating the creation of a purchase requirement document for sourcing ice cream ingredients.
Their solution included:
• Ingesting product data from third-party sources into BigQuery
• Filtering for ice cream-specific ingredients
• Building a lightweight application in Google AgentSpace to compile quantities, ingredients, and pricing
• Automating email delivery of the final document via Gmail
• Coordinating the flow using the Agent Development Kit to ensure smooth communication between systems
Their project stood out for its clear thinking, efficient design, and clever use of Google Cloud’s capabilities and was selected as the overall winner of the hackathon.
Leo Labeis, CEO of REGnosys said:
“This win reflects the spirit of innovation at the heart of REGnosys. I’m incredibly proud of Najihah and Chuks for bringing that mindset to the Google Cloud stage.
Both play critical roles in building and maintaining our platform day to day, from backend services to user interfaces. Their hackathon win is a brilliant example of the creativity, collaboration and technical skill they bring to the company every day.”
Minesh Patel, Chief Technology Officer said:
“What impressed me was how quickly they went from idea to working prototype. That kind of agility is what we strive for.
We rely on engineers like Najihah and Chuks to turn ambitious ideas into practical, scalable features for our clients. Their success at the hackathon shows exactly why they’re so valuable to the team, not just as developers, but as product thinkers.”
Congratulations again, Najihah and Chuks!
