Our CEO and Founder, Laurent-Olivier Labeis (Leo), recently spoke with Adrian Sharp at A-Team Insight, from A-Team Group about REGnosys’ role in supporting the shift toward shared, machine executable standards in regulatory reporting.
Leo reflected on REGnosys’ early partnership with ISDA in support of the Common Domain Model (CDM), including the creation of Rosetta, which was later contributed to FINOS as open source. By expressing logic and reporting rules in a standardised, machine executable format, firms can implement market standards more consistently across the industry.
This work is increasingly relevant as continuous regulatory updates and greater scrutiny place growing pressure on traditional reporting architectures, as seen with the operational demands of SFTR.
By lowering the barrier to entry, we aim to make it easier for firms to experiment with CDM and open source tooling and move toward an approach that can reduce operational disruption and compliance costs.
